NORWOOD, Ohio— Family members have identified Ally Nicole Hill as the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred Tuesday inside a Skyline restaurant on Montgomery Road in Norwood.
According to the Norwood Police Department, one person died following the stabbing, and another individual was taken into custody near the scene. Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s identity or provided details about what led to the incident.
The stabbing happened inside the Skyline restaurant, prompting a large emergency response from police and first responders. Officers secured the area as investigators worked to gather evidence and speak with witnesses.
Multiple people in the area told FOX19 NOW that the victim was a woman who worked at the restaurant. While police initially withheld her identity, family members later confirmed that the victim was Ally Nicole Hill.
Witnesses described a heavy police presence as the situation unfolded. Video captured by Taylor Speigel showed a man being escorted from a nearby bank in handcuffs. Authorities have not confirmed whether the individual shown in the footage is directly connected to the stabbing at Skyline.
Speigel described the man’s behavior as he was taken into custody.
“He walked out of the bank and was looking at everyone, just waving like he was proud,” Speigel said.
Police have also confirmed that a suspect photo has been identified as part of the investigation, though officials have not publicly released the image or confirmed additional identifying details.
At this time, authorities have not clarified the relationship, if any, between the victim and the suspect. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the deadly incident.
The Norwood Skyline restaurant remains closed following the stabbing. It is not yet known when or if the location will reopen as the investigation continues.
Officials confirmed there is no active threat to the public, and the situation has been contained with a suspect in custody.
The incident has left the Norwood community shaken, as residents, coworkers, and witnesses process the sudden loss and the violent circumstances surrounding it.
