BROKEN BOW, Okla. — The Broken Bow community is mourning the tragic and sudden loss of Mark Baker, 43, who was killed Sunday evening in a devastating crash on US Highway 70 near Canoe Road.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Baker was slowing his vehicle to make a turn when he was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by a Broken Bow woman. Despite emergency response efforts at the scene, Baker suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
