IN LOVING MEMORY Angel N. Grider 26 of Seymour Indiana

Authorities in Jackson County, Indiana are investigating a tragic single vehicle rollover crash that claimed the life of 26 year old Angel N. Grider of Seymour, Indiana on Monday afternoon June 15 2026.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department the crash occurred shortly before 2 20 p.m. when emergency dispatchers received reports of a serious vehicle crash on West County Road 225 North.

When deputies emergency medical personnel and first responders arrived they located a heavily damaged 2002 Toyota Echo in a field adjacent to the roadway. The vehicle had sustained extensive damage consistent with a severe rollover sequence.

Preliminary findings indicate that Angel Grider was traveling westbound when she lost control of her vehicle for reasons still under investigation. Authorities said the vehicle left the roadway entered a nearby field and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest.

Investigators reported that Angel Grider was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected during the rollover sequence. Despite rapid emergency response efforts she suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officials confirmed that no other vehicles were involved and no additional injuries were reported in the crash.

Following an initial examination of the scene investigators believe speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash though the investigation remains ongoing as they continue to review all possible contributing circumstances.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the incident and further updates may be released as more information becomes available.

Angel Grider is being remembered in the wake of a heartbreaking loss that has left family friends and the Seymour community grieving her passing.
