SARCOXIE, Missouri —The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a tragic incident that claimed the lives of David S. Harrison, 62, and Aleasha Harrison, 58, a husband and wife from Sarcoxie, Missouri. Deputies were alerted to a residence in Sarcoxie shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, where the couple was found deceased inside their home.
According to investigators, both David S. Harrison and Aleasha Harrison had suffered gunshot wounds. Preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation indicate that David Harrison allegedly shot his wife, Aleasha Harrison, before taking his own life. Authorities have described the case as an apparent murder-suicide, though the investigation remains active as detectives continue gathering evidence and reviewing the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
