In Loving Memory: Courtney Diamond, 25, Remembered After Tragic Head-On Collision in Columbia, New Hampshire

The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Courtney Diamond, 25, of Pelham, New Hampshire, who tragically lost her life following a devastating head-on collision Friday night in Columbia. Her untimely passing has left family, friends, and all who knew her grieving the loss of a young life taken far too soon.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, the fatal crash occurred just after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, along Route 3 in Columbia, Coös County. Troopers assigned to the Troop F barracks responded to reports of a serious head-on collision involving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the Silverado was traveling southbound while the Camaro, driven by Courtney Diamond, was traveling northbound. For reasons that remain under investigation, the Camaro crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the Silverado, resulting in catastrophic damage to both vehicles.

Several courageous Good Samaritans stopped immediately after the crash to render aid and assist those involved before emergency responders arrived. Their quick actions reflected the compassion and humanity that often shines through even during life’s darkest moments.

The Silverado was occupied by a family of five, including two adults and three children. Emergency personnel transported all five occupants to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook. Two suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while three sustained life-threatening injuries. Due to the severity of their conditions, all five were later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for advanced medical care.

Despite the efforts of first responders, Courtney Diamond suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her.

Numerous agencies responded to assist with the emergency, including the Colebrook Police Department, Colebrook Fire Department, New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, Pittsburg Police Department, Stratford Fire Department, and 45th Parallel EMS. Route 3 remained closed for approximately three and a half hours as investigators documented the scene and worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic collision.

The investigation remains ongoing, and New Hampshire State Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding the crash to contact Trooper Jacob Ingerson.

Today, as the investigation continues, the focus remains on remembering the young woman whose life ended far too soon. While the circumstances surrounding the crash are still being examined, Courtney Diamond will be remembered not for the tragedy that claimed her life, but for the memories she created, the relationships she cherished, and the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.
