GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department has officially identified the man who lost his life in a fatal shooting on the city’s southeast side early Monday morning as 26-year-old Terry Corona-Tenorio.
According to authorities, officers were called to the 1800 block of Francis Avenue SE at approximately 12:30 a.m. following reports of gunfire in the area. When first responders arrived on scene, they located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, Terry Corona-Tenorio was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed that the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
