LAREDO, Texas — A heartbreaking tragedy continues to weigh heavily on the Laredo community as new details have emerged following the fatal auto-pedestrian crash that claimed the life of Alejandro Cruz Jr. earlier this week. According to an updated statement from the Laredo Police Department, authorities have now officially identified the victim as Alejandro Cruz Jr., age 20. Officials clarified that earlier information released had incorrectly listed his age as 19.
