According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 200 block of Warren Road at approximately 12:50 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired involving two victims. When law enforcement officers arrived, they discovered Eric Markquis Bartley Miller, of Augusta, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Despite the efforts of first responders, Eric’s injuries were too severe. He tragically succumbed to his wounds at the scene and was officially pronounced deceased at 1:38 a.m. by Deputy Coroner John Rutland.
